In reply to Troy Marcel. Apparently it was due to the game engines problems and several deadlines for the development of the game not being met. In all honesty if you look at Platinum Games past few games last year they haven't been doing well at all.

Well, you may be right! But the thing is, that they need to communicate that they have more games! Even if they don’t release them this year, announce them and don’t give a release date.

What will they do this 1st 6 months? Pretend like sea of thieves can be the holiday game? Or that Gigantic will be Scorpio’s killer app?
