Just to have a “VR” system that does what is necessary one is going to have to place cameras around their room just like the PC versions require, so as they can have superior tracking/movement capabilities. I do not believe every person who would want “VR” is going to be willing to run wires/cables all over the place in their main living space just so they can VR it up.

One of the reasons why the PSVR was so successful is that it does not require anything other than the camera that sits on a shelf right in front of you.
