You’re a “gamer”? LOL. People didn’t start pushing that term until the Xbox One turned out to be a pile of sh*t. Now all of a sudden if you don’t support the Xbox One, you can’t consider yourself a “gamer”. How stupid.

I’m not a “gamer”. I don’t waste my money on sh*tty consumer products just to support the gaming industry. I only spend my money on quality consoles, and quality videogames. I don’t need to own every current game console, and support every crappy Xbox exclusive to prove I’m a “gamer”, because I’m not a gamer. I play PS4 games and PC games. Supporting the Xbox One is a waste of time and money at this point. I’m old enough to know that much.

What are you prattling on about? Sony hasn’t sold a lot of their exclusives beyond 1m either.

Well it’s about time those games finally show up. I will buy Horizon at launch and will say I am actually interested in a God of War game for the first time (amazing what a difference tone and writing can make when it doesn’t sound like it came from a disturbing 12 year old). I’d be hard-pressed to care about Spiderman unless the game is GOTY material. And also VR is coming to Scorpio sooner than later. That might be the new worst kept secret in gaming.

I don’t get Japanese titles and truly only interested in western titles. I don’t have anything against Japanese titles (the industry as we know it was essentially born in Japan) but if they don’t speak to me I have little interest in them. And in truth the Japanese $60 AAA game industry is as unhealthy as it’s ever been.

You can say they doubled the games, and maybe that’s true, I don’t have a list of exclusives in front of me, but they’ve not had double the quality, that’s for sure. MS has PC ports of their exclusives, but they’re still console exclusive, so if the argument is “Can I play this on one console and not the other?” The answer still remains yes. PC’s make up such a relatively small number of multiplatform sales it hardly makes a difference in the outcome. And if you have a gaming PC, if you’re anything like most people who have a gaming PC, there isn’t any reason to own either console, so that argument is rebuffed.

Don’t do that gramps, I mean I can’t speak for everyone here but I (unlike you) don’t just game exclusively on one platform , I mean how could I call myself a gamer if I did?
I’d offer you some advice but I was taught that when men reach your age there’s no changing them.

I’d say the day I let an article or a score given by individuals I don’t know or whom might not have the same taste in games as myself dictate me buying a game or not then that’s the day I stopped being a gamer, point blank period.
We all have our preference and mine is Xbox and pc
But I don’t let my preference stop me from experiencing the ps4 or soon the ps pro or the wiiu..
