In reply to Quantity of Quality. Yes, but have you noticed that Nintendo has revised projections vastly higher and higher for Switch as well as boosting manufacturing. Actually there was some little theory I read that Nintendo deliberately minimised their forecasts due to manufacturing limitations thanks to Toshiba. With Japan in particular going nuts, Switch's could be sold out for a while

In reply to TwoLiterSoda. Agree that Sony makes what DS or 3DS "COULD have been" type systems but the lack of any kind of 1st/3rd party support is what kills them. If you can imagine a world in which Sony and Microsoft both migrate over to ARM architecture, it could very well happen, picturing a hybrid PlayStation system isn't all that hard really. Nintendo has definitely created a blueprint for that.

Sony was never successful with anything portable, games systems or phones, that’s not going to change just by creating a Snapdragon 845 or Tegra X3 12gb ram 1TB flash drive 4K monster handheld… And we all know at the end of the day that is going to be Sony’s version of the Switch, bragging rights for graphics. It’s all about the games and that’s why Nintendo dominates handhelds.
