It’s not alleged, it’s a fact. I can’t believe you’d put ANY doubt in that, the Vita’s online capabilities far surpass the 3DS’. Don’t put the quality of one game’s online experience against that of another on a different console, you could easily cherry-pick games and say that the DS has better online play than the Vita, or the PSP has better online than the Vita, or the DS has better online than the 3DS, blahblah whatever.

Fact, the Vita has way better online functionality than the 3DS. So far there aren’t any good games you could really compare, but instead I’ll just just post some bullet points.

* The Vita supports cross-game chat.
* The Vita supports a way better friend system than the 3DS.
* PSN > Nintendo Network, which isn’t out yet and won’t have time to develop further than Sony’s PSN, especially since Nintendo fears the internet and Sony doesn’t.
