Did you even look at the source your linking to? It was published Oct 26 when Skyrim first launched and the number of mods have increased exponentially. 1502 XB1 to 970 PS4 which is hardly 6 times more mods. Mod size isnt even the issue here since 90% of mods are 50KB to 50MB. Its the linking externally seems to be the only real drawback.

I get where you are coming from but I can understand why Sony restricted mods, they have had a few hacking problems in the past and they are worried that people might exploit an open system, hopefully this will change in the future. The mod size I don’t really know why it’s so small but the mods aren’t that big anyway so it doesn’t matter too much
