No they didn’t. Sony did, 6 years ago with RemotePlay. And we’ve known Vita would have it since before we knew WiiU would get it.

Sony already said vita would have this functionality day 1, before wiiu comes out. And weve known this before nintendo said wiiu would do this, since psp has had remoteplay for 6years now

A typically more Western company like Microsoft wouldn’t do it, but I can see Sony and Nintendo ganging up on others, because they are both Japanese. Nothing illegal of course, but favorable options and such if there needs to be licensing especially since Sony sees Microsoft as a rival, but not necessarily Nintendo.
