Sony has stated in the quarterly report that hardware sales of the PS3 in the fiscal year are 15 million units. The year before this they sold 13 million.
Despite the increase of the installed hardware base for the PlayStation 3, Sony expects a constant software sales across all formats of 195.7 million games last year.
