Sony can’t subsist on just the PlayStation alone. They have closed many divisions and product lines over the last few years, they have laid off workers and sold buildings to stay afloat. Sony used go to dominate the electronics market but they haven’t had an innovative product in many years. I still have some stock I’m holding onto until its value hopefully goes up.
