Bunch of low budget, niche, filler games barely anyone has heard of.
Another lackluster experience. E3 was all about 2016-2017 games for PS, this was for filler games.
When will they have a good conference?

Xbox scum in utter denial that the Xbone got railroaded hard at TGS. MS should take notes for their next Gamescom so it isn’t as mediocre as their last one.

The conference was very good and I agree it was a revival of the Japanese industry but past Sony conferences has been also good and with Paris and the PS Experience to come, I couldn’t be happier.

Also, I am so glad that many of the Japanese games announced are coming to the west. That’s awesome and makes the PS4 the home for the best Japanese conntent.

Wow you started out basically saying how pointless the sony conferences have been in the past and arrive at this one being the best. From what I’ve seen in other sites like Eurogamer it seems the conference was underwhelming. It might have been paced right but the content was just weak and underwhelming. They had this whole event to themself like MS had Gamescon to their self and this is the best they could do, not the brightest light regarding the gaming industry in Japan.

Pramath the resident ps4 fanboy that cant ever be objective and try to check his bias…

From the very first xbox one E3 to the last gamescon, MS has concentrated on games and gaming related things (back compat, elite controller)…but now that Sony’s tgs finally concentrated on games (no tv, sales announcements,etc)…its all of a sudden the best thing ever lol.

By the way fanboys, this has nothing to do with which system is better. I’m merely pointing out the hypocrisy of this wannabe author.

Gotta disagree Pram. I hear u, and understand WHY u loved the conference; Sony didn’t step on their own foot by drowning the audience in TV and PR talk, they showed games. That indeed is a winning formula.

But imo, no way that, by default, that means this conference was better than their own E3 and certainly not Microsoft’s Gamescom. Why? WHAT these companies actually show IS GREATLY important. No way any of those TGS games equal what was shown during the summer by Sony and MS; Horizon, Street Fighter V, Quantum Break, Scalebound, etc.
