Do you have the latest sdk?

Oculus has stated that they won’t be releasing any more sdks as they would concentrate on the release version. I hope they do improve upon the latest prototype.

In regards do the console VR i.e. Morpheus. There’s two choices (imho) Sony has.

Either release a cheap version without any considerable HW on it, where the games will look like PSP games (as stated by those who played with it), but because of the price point it will have great initial sales - if Sony hypes it up enough or a version that’s quite expensive, but with dedicated HW so the ps4 is not strained (or at least there’s minimal strain put on the console) and the games look moderately good.

I don't blame them. Neither console is powerful enough for high end vr. Sony is using fake frame rate boosting to try and hit a high frame rate and the effects are convincing but its not gonna match up to pc.

I actually just hooked up an oculus to my pc for the first time the other day. It was a fantastic experience BUT unless they increase resolution and pixel density it will never be accepted as a long term thing. Even at 1080p the graphics looked low res due to how close you are to the pixels. we also need waaaaaay more pixel density. Another issue is brightness. LCD screens are always on even when showing blacks. These leads to a washed out look in vr. Oled helps solve that issue but it creates its own issue with blur and pixel splotches. Lots of issues to work out still.

That said it was an amazing experience
