I thought it was quite good although for people not following it might be abit confusing but its a small thing to gather interest from people who are watching and I'd there interested they can check it out. The real trailers will be around E3 at the pc games show and gamescom where they will show squadron 42. That will have much broader appeal than SC will. According to sandy when launched they will be separate full priced games so $120 for both

Dont forget that if you register on the Star Citizen Website (Roberts Space Industries) you can use a referral code like STAR-VTW4-76GG to get 5000 UEC once the game launches (It can also be the code of a friend who already owns the game), registering is free you can also prorder and have fun with the alpha build, or just plain wait till the game is released to make your decision (A little information though Star citizen and squadron 42 will be sold separately at the time of release you get them together if you pre-order)
