Quick update:

For information an independant journalist did played 3.0 before everybody (Christopher Livingston on another web site I won’t name by respect for this site). The guy was amazed and will make another article after Gamescom( because NDA).

In the next 12 months CIG is going to release 3 others major patch adding, transport, mining, salvaging and more… and they keep making 2 M$ per month on average.

Without doubt… this is the end… for troll 🙂

For Readers, SC is indeed two triple-a:

– Squadron 42 (solo) to be released in 3 chapters
– Star Citizen (MMO)

Assets of both are shared but tech developed for SC have been integrated in SQ42 (like procedural generation for planets, moons) hence the “delay”… some are referring to.

A schedule of release is planned later this year for SQ42 Chapter 1. Expected release is around mid-2018 while SC will continu to receive big patch like 3.0 in a month and half, including today ATV tech.
