dont forget profit margin, the margin on the Ipad is probably much smaller than that of SC2. if SC2 took $10 from each game to make, and the ipad takes $250 to make, then SC2 would win every time, imo. also on that note, way too lazy to do research, these #’s were made up

If starcraft 2 was sold for 500 bucks a pop, I still think they would sell a million copies in that day. Plus, money isnt the thing we’re looking at here. It’s how many people actually bought it. There are many people who actually could afford the iPad, yet found it retarded to buy it.

Repetitive, there are so many alternative games that I would consider repetitive over this. COD? Any shooter? Starcraft has so many different strategies and options for gameplay, without battlenet. And with bn the various “use map settings” games, range from LotR reenactments to all the various Defence games. Easily one of the defining games of video games. Sorry for the long post, but his was just such a uninformed one.
