it wont do that for the xbox 1 though the GPU isnt powerful enough and whenever you ask him about dx12 for xbox he said the performance from the new demo is far far beyond consoles becuase he said crossfire which means 2x GPU’s and high end GPU’s at that not the single weak GPU in xbox.

actually they didnt go the cheaper route. It only has so much die space and if it didnt have eSRAM in it, it would of had more room for more compute units. If it was printed on 20nm then could of added more in but as it stands they just simply ran out of room

also if your talking about the 300-600% for AMD nvidia compared to Xbox but 980/290x is MASSIVELY more powerful the xbox GPU so its sitting around waiting to be told what to process for longer and the lower the GPU you go down the less of an effect it will have as it has less compute units to get around to sending commands to, thats why.
