System Update For The Wii U Released, Promises To Improve Stability

Wii U update incoming.

Earlier today Nintendo released a new update for their horse in the next gen console race, the Wii U, upgrading the system to 4.0.2. Nintendo claims that this newest update will make further improvements to the stability of the console, while also making some minor adjustments in an effort to improve overall user experience.

It has also been announced that there is an incoming firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS, which will reportedly allow gamers to link accounts between the two Nintendo systems. The implication of this would be that money transferred into digital currency for either system would be transferrable.

Since the release of the Wii U there have been outcries from fans who want their 3DS profiles connected with their Wii U ones, and vice versa, just like Sony has done with the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita, and now with the PlayStation 4. It seems Nintendo has decided to pay heed to their complaints and adjust accordingly.
