Man, the PC gamers just can’t catch a break, can they? Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, which was supposed to be released in November will now release in December on the PC.

However, it will launch on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 15 as planned.

Ubisoft has given no reason regarding the postponed date. All they said was this: “Assassin’s Creed Revelations will launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 15 and PC in December.” (Joystiq)

An extended E3 trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations was released recently, and it looks magnificent, enough to get anybody pumped for it. You can see the video here.

Ubisoft has released an extended version of the awesome E3 trailer they showed for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations at… well, E3. You’ve probably been wondering what happens after Ezio punches Borgia in the face with a  rope around his neck. The video shows you ten seconds of his fist fight and escape, all looking really neat.

Other than that, the song that played in the background in the E3 trailer- Iron- has been replaced BY Ezio’s voice over, as he reads out a letter he’s written to his siter Claudia. He talks about Masyaf, and what it holds for him, and if the Assassins can ever take it back, and other things the game will probably focus on. Honestly, it looks more badass than ever.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelation releases on November 15 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, ending the ‘Ezio trilogy.’ Stay tuned for more info.

The Assassin’s Creed: Revelations beta, previously exclusive to PS Plus members and Uplay participants, will be thrown open to ALL PSN holders today, Ubisoft has announced.

The beta will run from Sep 8- Sep 11. However, only a limited number of players be allowed to download the beta. Once the ceiling is hit, no more players will be allowed inside.

Revelations releases in November for the 360, PS3 and PC, ending the “Ezio trilogy.” It looks really, good to be honest.

A 10 minute long video showing multiplayer gameplay footage taken from the ongoing beta has been posted on YouTube, showing an entire match of a game mode known as “Easy Deathmatch”.

It looks great, and closer to the single player experience than ever before.

Ubisoft, with the closure of the Ezio trilogy with the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, is looking to answer a lot of questions that games in the series has brought up till now, saying that out of every ten questions, they will answer seven.

“We actually found, I forget where it is on the web, somebody did a ‘Top Ten Things Fans Want to Know About Assassin’s Creed,’” creative director Alex Amancio told Destructoid at PAX. “And in that top ten list, we actually answer seven.”

“People are going to go ‘Oh, okay, I get it!’ or ‘I never thought they were going to show me that!’ and it really sets you up for what’s to come.

“Keep in mind we’re following the typical trilogy structure. So of course, everything can’t be answered.

“But at the same time, we want to avoid what I like to fall the X-Files effect, where you risk crumbling under the weight of your own mythology, so a lot of doors have been left open.”

Ubisoft has detailed the collector’s edition for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, called the Animus Edition. They have also released a trailer for the same.

The animus edition will contain the following:

• The Animus box entirely covered with lenticular lenses to faithfully reproduce the black room of the Animus.
• In-depth Encyclopaedia featuring 256 pages with comprehensive entries on the major characters, events and other important aspects of the Assassin’s Creed universe.
