Blizzard Announced Diablo III during the PlayStation 4 reveal back on February 20th, 2013. According to Blizzard their team had “just received the new console generation development kits, so the translation to those platforms is yet to be done.” This suggest that the game won’t be ready for launch on the day of the PlayStation 4 release.

However, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version will be arriving on September 3rd this year. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 version will most likely be coming out sometime in 2014. Diablo III has been out since May of last year on PC and has received tons of patches, bug fixes and new features overtime. Blizzard promises that the console counterpart will be up-to-date just like the PC version.

In addition to including all the improvements from the PC version over the past year, we’ve made several updates to Diablo III for play on the PS3. We got a ton of positive feedback from players who tried the game at PAX East, and we can’t wait to get it into everyone’s hands later this year.”

Pre-order – Bonus Item (Infernal Helm)

Those who pre-order Diablo III will receive an in-game item called Infernal Helm, which will grant players a EXP boost to their character as they slay the demons of Tristram.

Diablo III was announced for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 at Sony’s PlayStation 4 reveal conference earlier this year on February 20th 2013 after Blizzard announced a partnership with Sony.
