"We want to get more and more staff, because we need more people to make these crazy awesome games," says SNK's Joshua Weatherford.

SNK had plenty to talk about at EVO, from showcasing a new fighter for the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves to unveiling new DLC for The King of Fighters 15 to shadow dropping SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos– though interestingly, there’s plenty more that the company is currently working on as well.

During SNK’s showcase panel at Evo (via Gematsu), producer Joshua Weatherford revealed two more games that SNK is currently working on. One is a new entry in the Art of Fighting franchise, which is set in the same universe as Fatal Fury and hasn’t seen a new instalment since 1996. The second project, meanwhile, is an action RPG spinoff in the fighting franchise Samurai Shodown, which, as per Weatherford, is going to “have a lot surprises in store”.

Weatherford says SNK is actively recruiting to work on both projects, so it’s probably safe to assume that they’re in the early stages of development right now. Presumably, that means it’ll be a while before we hear or see anything concrete related to either of them.

“If you’re a fan of these franchises and you’re looking for an in-development job, send in your applications, we need more people to help us make these awesome games,” he said.
