Sledgehammer Games has announced that the Ascendance DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be out on April 30th for PS3, PS4 and PC. It will take up roughly 4.8 GB of space on PS4 according to the PlayStation Store. Check out the new gameplay trailer for the same above.

The Ascendance DLC contains four new multiplayer maps along with a new Exo Grapple playlist that allows players to grapple through various environments and dispose of other players with. There will also be a new weapon with the OHM, a light machine gun/shotgun hybrid, and its variant the OHM Werewolf.

Finally, the Exo Zombies campaign will continue with the next episode Infection that takes the crew to Burger Town. It introduces a fair amount of new additions such as escorting survivors to extraction points and combating a new massive, Goliath-wearing zombie.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Ascendance DLC is already out for Xbox 360 and Xbox One thanks to a timed exclusivity deal with Microsoft. Stay tuned for more information on the PSN and PC release in the coming weeks.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will see its second DLC pack release in the coming week for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Ascendance will feature a number of new additions and Sledgehammer Games has released a gameplay trailer showcasing the new maps and modes.

More importantly, we get a look at the OHM-Werewolf, an LMG/shotgun hybrid that looks as cool as it does deadly. The various maps – Perplex, Chop Shop, Site 244 and Climate – offer up some new interesting gameplay additions. These include map specific killstreaks such as on Site 244 where you can pick up an alien larvae and gain increased speed and the ability to see through walls.

The Exo Zombies campaign will also continue and sees our team of survivors pursued by a horde of zombies, including a hulking zombie with a hammer and shield.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Ascendance DLC is out on March 31st for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with PS3, PS4 and PC receiving the DLC a month later.

Sledgehammer Games will be releasing Ascendance, the second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, on Xbox consoles come March 31st. It will include four new multiplayer maps, a new weapon, a new chapter in Exo Zombies and the Exo Grapple playlist.

The four maps include Perplex, a five story apartment complex in Sydney; Site 244, a three lane map centered around a downed alien spaceship; Climate, which takes place in a clime controlled utopia of a city; and Chop Shop, a black market for Exo suits which contains a turrent that fires microwave EMPs.

The other new additions come by way of the Exo Grapple ability which will be featured in a new playlist and the OHM LMG/shotgun energy weapon (along with its variant, the OHM Werewolf). As always, Ascendance will arrive on Xbox 360 and Xbox One one month before its PS3, PS4 and PC release so stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.

Ubisoft have sent out a mail, detailing their animated short story in build up for their upcoming game, Brotherhood, Ascendance. The first thing they is that the Assassin’s Creed franchise has now gloabally sold 19 million units- okay, that’s a lot.

Ubi say Ascendance will close the interim between AC2 and Brotherhood and how Ezio is trying to (SPOILER) take the papal throne away from the Borgia family. (SPOILERS END).
