A Director’s Cut release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will likely include all of the DLCs that have been released for the game so far. There might also be new content and other enhancements developed for the release.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was released all the way back in December 2023. The title has since seen quite a bit of support from Ubisoft, including updates with new features, like one bringing a 40 FPS mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as full-blown expansions in the form of The Sky Breaker and Secrets of the Spire.

The game takes place around eight years before the events of the original Avatar movie, and revolves around five young Na’vi children – the player character (Sarentu), Ri’nela, Aha’ri, Teylan, and Nor, being trained by Dr. Alma Cortez and John Mercer to be Na’vi-Human ambassadors. Things don’t quite go smoothly, however, and the Na’vi children end up escaping from their training.

The Sky Breaker sees the Na’vi clans coming together in a great celebration of their great games, but festivities are cut short by the RDA. Players are once again tasked with taking on the villainous humans and protecting the unity of the clans.

The Sky Breaker doesn’t require you to finish the base game, and is available if you’ve completed the early game mission titled “Songs of the Ancestor”. The DLC is included with the game’s Season Pass, which will also include the second paid expansion due out this fall, dubbed Secrets of the Spire.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (where it also launched for Steam last month). Read our review of the game, where we awarded it a score of 8/10, through here.
