On June 10th, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition, a remaster of the beloved 2011 action title, is available on Ultimate and PC Game Pass for cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X/S players. Barbie Project Friendship follows on June 11th for all three subscription tiers, while Kingdom: Two Crowns is live for PC Game Pass and Ultimate.

On June 12th, EA Sports FC 25 becomes playable for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, followed by The Alters on June 13th. June 17th marks the arrival of FBC: Firebreak, Remedy’s co-op shooter set years after Control. The same day sees the launch of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time for consoles and PC and Lost in Random: The Eternal Die for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

There could be more announcements at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase on June 8th, so stay tuned. As for titles leaving on June 15th, they include:

• Dordogne (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Hypnospace Outlaw (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Isonzo (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Keplerth (PC)
• My Time At Sandrock (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Depersonalization (PC)

“Rediscover two RPG Classics,” reads the notification. “Customize your hero, recruit brave allies, and explore mystical realms in your search for adventure, profit… and the truth. Play Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 with Game Pass.”

The notification seems to have been a mistake, however, as the games aren’t part of the list of titles slated to be coming to PC and Xbox Game Pass in January. Then again, there’s a chance that they will be included in the subscription service’s wave 2 lineup later in the month.

It is worth noting for those that might be interested in revisiting the classic RPGs that, while the first two Baldur’s Gate titles are still excellent games with fantastic stories, they aren’t really connected as heavily to Baldur’s Gate 3 as the franchise name would imply.

Baldur’s Gate 3, on the other hand, has been an incredible success for developer Larian Studios, with the RPG having swept up several Game of the Year awards from different parts of the industry.

There’s a new sale underway at GOG and it’s comprised of many of the top wishlisted games on the platform. Over 150 games are on sale with discounts up to 85 percent depending on the game in question. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt along with its Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone expansions are on sale.

Other noteworthy releases include Divinity: Original Sin 2 at 15 percent off, Grim Dawn at 70 percent off, Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition for 75 percent off, Hyper Light Drifter for 50 percent off and much more. Even Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, which doesn’t see many strong discounts on Steam, is 50 percent off.

Other noteworthy releases include Owlboy, Thimbleweed Park, Torment: Tides of Numenera, Everspace and so on. You’re bound to find something enjoyable, even if your wishlist is full of mostly niche games. The GOG Most Wanted Sale will end on April 23rd so make sure to pick something up before then.

Many may not know it but Bioware’s Baldur’s Gate 2: Shadows of Amn is easily one of the best – if not the best – Western RPG ever made. Combined with a deep understanding of AD&D mechanics, an emotional story and a wonderfully realized world with deep battle mechanics, it’s seemingly been lost in time until the Enhanced Editions for the series began to be released.

The good news is that after the first Baldur’s Gate had an Enhanced Edition, it’s been revealed that Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition will be releasing on Android, Linux and iPhone on December 16th. It is already available on PC, Mac and iPad with update 1.3 which will included in the mobile version. This update fixes more than a few bugs with the multiplayer and path finding so it’s well worth the inclusion.

After many, many delays, much-awaited Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition is now available for iOS albeit for the iPad only. You can pick it up on the Apple App Store for $14.99, and it includes the original game Shadows of Amn along with the the Throne of Bhaal expansion.

But that’s not all – you’ll also receive four new party members with new story quests associated with each to further add to the replay value. If that weren’t enough, you also get The Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay, which presents an arena challenge for your party to conquer.

Already available on the PC and Mac OS X, also after many delays, distributor Beamdog faced contractual issues with publisher Atari that prevented the game’s release. Those issues have since been resolved and now the game is freely available for all intended platforms (though we still wait for that elusive Android version). Have you played the game yet? Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition, the remake of the seminal CRPG by Bioware that put them on the map and began their meteoric rise as one of the most important developers of the industry, launches next month, and is now already available for pre-order, reports VG247.

The update, which includes enhanced HD graphics, also includes Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal, as well as four new allies for your party, each with their own unique quests.

Also bundled in the Enhanced Edition is The Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay, an arena challenge.

You can pre-load the game on your PC and Mac using the Beamdog client, or wait for the standalone installer that is coming up soon.

It will be interesting to see if the game has aged well at all; a lot of the seminal games of the era, both on consoles and on PCs, aged poorly, because the new mechanics that they introduced were all refined and polished in subsequent generations.
