Rip and tear, even more.

Early last year, the original DOOM as well as its sequel, DOOM 2, came to all modern platforms. People have been enjoying ripping and tearing demos, old school-style, with the classic shooters ever since, but if you thought you were done, you’re about to pulled right back in with a new update that adds plenty of bloody new stuff.

The update is live now, and it includes support for 60 frames per second, something many people will enjoy. Along with that come options to adjust aspect ratio, added weapon selection, quick save options, and several more quality of life additions. Along with those also come new add-ons, with the likes of Final DOOM as well as John Romero’s SIGIL, an original campaign the designer created. You can see the full list of what was included in the update through here.

DOOM and DOOM 2 are available across all major platforms,. The update can be downloaded across all available platforms now as well. The next entry in the legendary series, DOOM Eternal, launches in March.

Create your own Vault. Experiment on its dwellers.

Fallout 4 has added a new settlement-based DLC to its repertoire but this one’s a bit more extensive. Vault-Tec Workshop allows players to create and maintain their very own Vaults and it’s available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Along with adding various furniture and light fixtures, players can decorate their Vaults with art and other features. Once you attract some settlers, it’s possible to run a few experiments on them for…well, for no good reason other than the fun of it.

Vault-Tec Workshop is available free for Season Pass holders. It can be purchased separately for $4.99/£3.99 and is the second-last DLC to release for Fallout 4. The last DLC will be a story expansion called Nuka-World releasing in August and which sees players venture to amusement park run by raiders. Players can even recruit their own bands of raiders in the process.

What are your thoughts on Vault-Tec Workshop? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned for more information.

Releasing on September 9th.

Keen on immersing yourself in the world of The Elder Scrolls Online, especially with the One Tamriel update opening it up to players regardless of their level of alliance? You can best do that on September 9th then because The Elder Scrolls Online Gold Edition has just been announced.

Along with the base game, players gain access to the four released DLC packs (Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood), all the updates and even a Palomino horse mount (and trust us, you’ll want a mount for riding around). The Gold Edition will be available for both PC and consoles.

Current players of The Elder Scrolls Online can look forward to Shadows of the Hist, an update which adds costume dyeing, a style parlour (which lets you change your appearance for a price) and two new four player dungeons – the Ruins of Mazzatun and Cradle of Shadows. Those with an ESO Plus membership get them for free while others can purchase them for 1,500 crowns. It’s out on August 1st for PC and Mac while it heads to Xbox One and PS4 on August 16th.
