Beyond Gaming Industries has launched a Kickstarter for what may either be the coolest or oddest thing we’ve ever seen – the System Integrated Dock or S.I.D. which serves to protect your Xbox One or PS4 while converting it into a walking tank. Seriously, check out the screen above.

The S.I.D. isn’t all show though – it comes with a built-in cooling fans, interchangeable parts, an under glow LED and light-up panel, USB charging docks and of course, protective armour. The joints on the tank can be articulated and you can even fit a custom nameplate to this behemoth.

Beyond Gaming is currently asking for $155,000 to kick-start the S.I.D. with roughly 34 days to go. It’s bizarre but honestly, there are less cooler ways to protect your console.
