In its currently early access state, Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors has completed quite a few features on its roadmap, including Steam Deck verification, the addition of a Hyper mode, and a collectible stats screen. The game is still slated to get two more features: a character sheet, and balancing changes and bug fixes.

Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors is a game in the vein of Vampire Survivors. Players take on the role of one of three hero classes—Fighter, Rogue, or Wizard—as they take on the titular Gallowspire. As they move up the floors of the spire, players will be able to unlock more than 67 different abilities and more than 36 talents inspired by the Pathfinder tabletop RPG.

The game features more than 30 quests to complete across its 16 floors, which also incorporate 3 unique biomes.

Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults is being described by BKOM as a co-op hack and slash game. It will allow up to four players to play iconic Pathfinder characters as they explore, fight, and loot their way through Gauntlight Keep. The primary antagonist of the game will be evil sorceress Belcorra Haruvex.

True to the Adventure Path the game is based on, Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults will feature a singular massive dungeon—referred to in the tabletop RPG as a “megadungeon”—filled with different enemies, as well as distinct biomes to keep things interesting.

The game will feature four character classes: Barbarian, Ranger, Cleric, and Wizard, representing four of the base classes available in tabletop Pathfinder.

The Kickstarter campaign for Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults is seeking $305,298 as its goal, and at the time of publishing, is sitting at $196,826 having been pledged to it by 3,019 backers. The campaign still has 27 more days to go.

While games using the Pathfinder setting and ruleset—namely Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous—have seen a fair bit of commercial and critical success, Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults will be quite different from those games, since it will be a fast-paced action RPG rather than a CRPG filled with story elements, conversations, and complicated RPG systems.
