With teams made up of the top three riders from each country, this is a season ending challenge that features only the very best stars of the motocross world.

The game is developed by Milestone and published worldwide by Black Bean Games. It is available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

MUD FIM Motocross World Championship demo is now downloadable through the Playstation Network. The demo will be available to download from Friday 27th April 2012 for Xbox Live.

Guest starring in the 4th development diary is Vanni Oddera, Motocross freestyle champion who has collaborated with the Milestone team to help bring to life The Monster Energy Trick Battle Mode. Thanks to his expertise, which has been gained on some of the world’s most famous freestyle arenas, Vanni Oddera was able to offer lots of advice and input into the development of the game in order to make a more realistic in-game freestyle experience.

Vanni Oddera commented ”It was very exciting to work with the guys at Milestone. It’s been a blast to share my knowledge with them to help create MUD’s Monster Energy Trick Battle Mode, which I think is an amazing virtual experience.” He continued “In the video diary, everyone can learn the techniques needed in order to be able to perform amazing tricks. WRC 3, the official video game of the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), is set for release in October 2012.

WRC 3 features all the rallies in the 2012 WRC calendar, complete with all leading WRC teams and drivers in the revamped career mode. WRC 3 also features a brand new graphics engine, called Spikengine, allowing Milestone to accurately model lighting, particle effects and other real-world characteristics to create an in-game virtual reality, offering complete immersion in the WRC universe. The cars themselves showcase new modelling techniques – they have never looked as life-like, or handled as realistically, as in WRC 3. Milestone has streamlined every aspect of the game to allow new players instant gameplay satisfaction, while still allowing experienced rally gamers to explore the game’s full range of features and drive a WRC car from the comfort of their own home.

Black Bean Games and Milestone have released a new dev diary for their upcoming racing title, MUD FIM Motocross World Championships. In this video, the devs talk about what technologies they used to develop the game. They also talk about some features like terrain deformation and character animation and the technology they used on these features.
