Today sees the release of some two new DLC packs for Dead Rising 2 Off The Record.

The Fire Fighter Skill Pack gives you:
* Immunity to fire damage
* Increased speed when carrying or assisting survivors
* The ability to kick doors open
* New attack and increased durability with the fire axe

The Fire Fighter Skills pack is available for 160MP or €1.99/£1.59.

Second DLC pack for Dead Rising 2 Available Today

Capcom have announced that the 2nd DLC pack for Dead Rising 2 is out. Check out the official press release below.

Fire up the grill and become everyone’s favourite meat man with the BBQ CHEF skill pack. Get beefier attacks with the knife and cleaver, gain more health from delicious meats, cause bigger explosions to charbroil any zombies in range and make fatal use of the condiment bar.

The BBQ Chef skill pack is available from today from Xbox Live and tomorrow on PSN for 160MPs or €1.99/£1.59 and consists of:
BBQ Chef Hat
BBQ Chef Face
BBQ Chef Apron
BBQ Chef Sandals
And will deliver the following bonuses:
* Gain more health from grilled foods like BBQ chicken, ribs and hamburgers!
* New attacks with the chef knife and meat cleaver!
* Explosions are bigger!

The new, “Off the Record” storyline means an all new Dead Rising 2 experience. Frank will face off against more twisted enemies, build more outrageous combo weapons, follow his own unique mission structure and explore brand new areas of Fortune City to get his biggest scoop yet. Frank’s come back means the return of his trusty camera, with players able to earn Prestige Points (PP) for specifi c photo opportunities that are graded against criteria such as horror, drama, erotica and brutality.

This trailer for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.. is just silly. However I still cannot wait to play the game, as zombies just can’t seem to get old. The game is out October 11th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. There are also a bunch of different pre-order bonus weapon and things you can get depending on where you pre-order it… or what continent you live on, …fair? I think not.
