Not long after said reports emerged, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan criticized Activision Blizzard’s “deep-seated culture of discrimination and harassment” in an email sent out to PlayStation employees, and it seems that the company has taken at least some steps to distance itself from the problematic company. As pointed out by Charlie INTEL on Twitter, while Call of Duty: Vanguard had previously been featured front and center as one of the games on the “featured” section on the  front page of the PlayStation website, the game now seems to have been removed from that spot.

It’s a small step, of course, and unlikely to affect the game’s bottom line in any significant way, but the action itself, if it is indeed in response to the recent reports, is not wholly insignificant. PlayStation has had an exclusive marketing deal with Activision for Call of Duty for several years running at this point, so this is a bit of an unprecedented move.

Recently, Xbox boss Phil Spencer also said that he was “evaluating all aspects” of Microsoft’s relationship with Activision. Read more on that through here.

Pressure has been mounting on Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, as employees and shareholders continue to speak out loudly against him, even demanding his resignation. Thousands of company employees have been signing a petition for the same– though it doesn’t seem like Activision leadership is willing to remove Kotick from his position as things stand right now.

Now, they’ve also revealed exactly what the game’s file sizes will be across all consoles. You can find that info below:

  • PlayStation 5: 64.13 GB Download | 89.84 GB Required Space
  • PlayStation 4: 54.65 GB Download | 93.12 GB Required Space
  • Xbox Series X/S: 61 GB Download | 61 GB Required Space
  • Xbox One: 56.6 GB Download | 56.6 GB Required Space

Activision says players will also be able to manage storage space and reduce the game’s overall file size during or after the pre-load.

Speaking of pre-loads, Activision has also confirmed exact timings for when the game’s pre-loading will become available. Pre-loading on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One begins on October 28 at 9 PM PT. In North and South America, for PS5 and PS4 pre-loading begins at the same time, and on October 29 midnight local time everywhere else.

Pre-loading on PC will begin on November 2, though exact details on the timings and the game’s PC system requirements across minimum, recommended, competitive, and Ultra 4K settings will be revealed “soon”.

Call of Duty: Vanguard launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 5.
