It releases on March 12 for PC, PS3, Wii and DS.

“Adventure was always in her blood. From being a pirate captain’s daughter to becoming the Caribbean’s first female pirate captain herself; Morgane Castillo was never going to lead a boring life! Join Morgane as she grows up from an innocent 8 year old island girl to becoming the most famous pirate of the Caribbean! Join her in her adventure as she seeks out the mysterious treasure of the Golden Turtle and help her solve the mysteries, puzzles, clues and outwit her enemies along the way. Help her recruit her crew, explore over 50 locations on 5 beautiful and exotic islands in the Caribbean sea but above all, try to keep her out of trouble…she is a pirate after all!”

Wizarbox have announced a new game, Captain Morgan and the Golden Turtle.

Fabien Bihour, Wizarbox CEO said, “We wanted to build on the success of So Blonde with a character we grew to love – Morgane Castillo. But more than that, we wanted to build a world which was a worthy partner to Steve’s great storyline and script. As a studio we’re experienced in creating adventure games and wanted to give the player as many potential directions and activities as possible. We had to develop incredibly detailed interactive environments and high definition enabled us to do just that.”

The game will support the PS Move controller. Fabien continues, “We wanted to make the 20 hours of gameplay time as immersive as possible so using the Sony Move made perfect sense, especially when looking for those elusive clues!”

Julien Millet, Wizarbox project manager of the title said, “Captain Morgane was a challenge from the outset, especially in developing Morgane’s world and the cast to fill it. We have over 40 fully fleshed out characters with back stories and 50 highly detailed individual environments set over 5 islands – it’s not just an epic story, it’s an epic game in itself!”

Steve says, “The story is one of development with a character coming into her own. She starts as a child in the first chapter, and we quickly switch to when she’s about 17 years old where she’s getting the chance to prove herself in her father’s eyes and it’s a voyage of discovery for her.”

“The visual aspect of it is fantastic! To get such detail on screens is a joy really. When I first started in the industry working on low-res games that came out on floppy disks, you could only dream of this sort of quality”, he wrapped up.

Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle will be launched in Q4 2011 on PlayStation 3, PC, Wii and DS.

Reef Entertainment today announced the launch of its latest game Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle. The ‘Point & Click’ adventure game will go on sale Q4 2011. Available on Sony PS3, PC, Nintendo Wii and DS utilising the Playststation MoveTM and Nintendo controllers, the breath-taking Caribbean settings and backdrops will be realised in true 1080p High Definition.

Players will have to chase the trail left by ‘famous adventurer’ Buckleberry Tanner, to find the hidden clues to locate the hidden treasure of Turtle Island, solve the myriad of puzzles and mini-games whilst pitting their wits against Hilary Simpkins (the villain from ‘So Blonde) to discover the treasure before he does.
