Hilarity ensues.

After the presentation of Xbox One, Microsoft’s social media account shared a tweet which they thought was a positive reaction when in reality it was a sarcastic comment on the console reveal.

The tweet below is from Gamespot Writer, Carolyn Petit. It’s easy to tell that she was being sarcastic due to the amount of attention that was given to TV capabilities of the Xbox One as opposed to games. It seems that Microsoft did not understood the sarcasm behind the tweet and took it as a positive reaction instead.

A better way to watch TV: #XboxOne. twitter.com/Xbox/status/33…

— Xbox (@Xbox) May 21, 2013

Few moments later Carolyn sent in another tweet:

I…I don’t know if this is horrible or glorious. twitter.com/Xbox/status/33…

— Carolyn Petit (@carolynmichelle) May 21, 2013

I am sure many people got a nice laugh out of it. After an underwhelming show, Microsoft really needs to pick things up at E3 2013. Will they able to fight back and show the real thing that matters: The Games?

Check back on GamingBolt for more news and updates regarding Xbox One.
