PS4daily is reporting that Sony will be advertising the PS4 on May 25th. This is still a rumour for now considering the source but since the Xbox 720 could be announced on May 21st, Sony would be looking to reduce the hype of the console somewhat.

“It’s unknown if the TV ads will be simple “Sponsored by PlayStation 4″ bits, or whether Sony has a full blown 30-second or 60-second PlayStation 4 TV spot to showcase the new console,” the site writes.

The system could have a massive advertising budget but we don’t have the official numbers but since it’s a major product for the company, you can be sure it will be high.
