Things only get worse for the once gargantuan social game developer.

Reduced stock prices, departing employees including it’s CFO, COO, CCO and more, the closure of more than 10 of its social games on Facebook – who else are we talking about but Zynga? The once prolific developer continues its free-fall, as chief game designer Brian Reynolds departs.

Zynga president of games Steve Chiang recently spoke to Polygon, and stated, “Brian has a long history in the game industry and has been a great partner to the creative leaders at Zynga. I want to thank him for his leadership of the Zynga Baltimore studio in the design and development of FrontierVille, which brought many innovations to social gaming.

“We appreciate Brian’s contribution and we’re proud of the deep bench of creative leaders who are leading the next wave of game innovation at Zynga. We wish Brian the best in his next chapter.”

Reynolds contributed to the development of FrontierVille and CityVille 2, when he founded Zynga East in 2009 after leaving 38 Studios as creative director.
