EA is facing a class action lawsuit, Kotaku reports. EA had originally promised all PS3 copies to contain free download vouched for Battlefield 1943, but they backed out at the last minute. This has created some problems as they have been taken to court.

They alleged that EA announced the news that the PS3 copies won’t get Battlefield 1943 in a disrespectful manner. EA had announced it in Twitter.

The suit said, “misled and profited from thousands of their customers by making a promise that they could not, and never intended, to keep”

They aren’t looking for money but just a free copy of Battlefield 1943. I’m actually surprised they didn’t demand for more. EA had made ‘Back to Karkand’ DLC pack available early to PS3 owners in return of Battlefield 1943.
