Retails for $119.99.

Sony’s The Last Guardian, developed by SIE Japan Studio and genDESIGN, is receiving a Collector’s Edition pack and you can head over to Amazon to pre-order the same.

Costing $119.99, the Collector’s Edition includes a large wooden crate with a premium steelbook that houses the game. It also features a 72 page art book, digital OST, a themed sticker sheet and a large statue of Trico sleeping next to the boy. All in all, it’s not a bad Collector’s Edition and pretty much in line with what we expect at this price.

The Last Guardian will be releasing on October 25th for PlayStation 4 after being announced roughly seven years ago and facing innumerable delays (it was originally meant to release on the PlayStation 3). What are your thoughts on the Collector’s Edition and the game finally seeing a release? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on The Last Guardian in the coming months.

"Nice physical goodies" planned instead.

Unlike a number of Ninja Theory’s previous releases, its upcoming hack and slash title Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be a digital-only title. That being said, the developer is planning a physical Collector’s Edition. Will that have a disc?

Well, according to the dev on Twitter, no. “We’re looking to make a physical collectors edition. No disc, but nice physical goodies.”

Which sounds good but if you’re paying that much for a physical Collector’s Edition, isn’t a disc pretty much a given? Then again, if it’s priced keeping in mind the lack of a physical disc, then it shouldn’t be a problem. Plus we don’t expect the sacrifice of noble Senua to necessarily take up tons of GB so bandwidth concerns should be for naught.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is expected to release sometime in 2016 for PS4 and PC. The game has morphed considerably over the years to a more psychological kind of hack and slash title as Senua struggles against the manifestations of her own mind. Stay tuned for more updates as E3 2016 rolls around.

Season Pass also confirmed.

The Division officially has two different collector’s editions that you can pre-order now along with the Season Pass (which promises some “major expansions” and benefits to members).

The Gold Edition is straightforward enough. You get the National Guard gear set, the base game and the Season Pass along with access to the closed beta. This is available to pre-order from retailers for $100.

The Sleeper Agent Edition (pictured above) offers much more. Along with the base game and Season Pass, you receive an Agent Watch replica (fully functional); an Agent Armband; an artbook featuring high quality concept art; an exclusive Collector’s Box; and a “Save What Remains” poster. Pre-ordering this nets you closed beta access, the Hazmat Gear Set and an exclusive steelbook.

This is available to pre-order directly from Ubisoft for $160.

Tom Clancy’s The Division releases on March 8th 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Includes a $250 Limited Collector's Edition with a commemorative statue.

The multiplayer beta for Halo 5: Guardians is already underway but Microsoft has also announced that the full game is now available for pre-order.

The publisher has outlined three different bundles for the 343 Industries shooter, starting with the Standard Edition. For $60, you’ll receive an exclusive poster if you pre-order. The Limited Edition will cost $100 and will include digital content, likely weapons and items for multiplayer, along with exclusive items. These will be contained in a steel book casing.

Finally, there’s the Limited Collector’s Edition which costs $250. It adds “additional content” which includes a numbered statue created by 343 Industries. There isn’t much information available on the Limited Collector’s Edition but Microsoft promises to reveal more later.

As of now, Halo 5: Guardians doesn’t have a release date though odds are it will be out in late 2015, perhaps between September and November given the release schedule of previous Halo games. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.

Ubisoft has announced its range of pre-order bonuses for Assassin’s Creed Unity, with each unique retail receiving its own unique in-game item.

Amazon consumers will net the Pioneer Axe, which is “a battleaxe like no other”; GameStop customers will get the Razorhead Spear, which apparently promises to kill every piece of armour out there; Walmart gets Maple Hunting Rifle; and Best Buy gets the Under/Over Pistol, an double barreled pistol that can apparently let off two bullets at once. All pre-orders will also feature “The Chemical Revolution” mission along with a code for participating in a real world sweepstakes (with one of the prizes being a trip to Ubisoft Montreal or Paris).

There’s also the Collector’s Edition, which will include a 16 inch Arnaud figurine, a musical box that can play the official, the OST, an art book, the Killed by Science and Chemical Revolution missions and of course, a swanky collector’s edition box.

Bungie's online shooter gets a whole lot more intricate.

Bungie’s Destiny hasn’t exactly been updated with the most concurrent details – we haven’t seen much gameplay footage lately and the announcement of a release date and public beta seem to be the only significant developments. Regardless, Bungie is hard at work on the persistent online shooter and may be revealing a collector’s edition for the same next week.

This was indicated on the developer’s blog where a fan asked if a collector’s edition was in the works. Bungie replied, “Ask us again next week.”

At this point, why not? Hopefully, there will also be details available about beta access, with those pre-ordering the collector’s edition to receive early access or something to that effect. We also expect the standard collectible, wily packaging and inventiveness that defined the Halo series’ collector’s editions.

Destiny releases on September 9th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 worldwide. Stay tuned for more details next week.

Bigger is better. Why have more team-mates when you could have a large Titan mech following you around in Respawn Entertainment’s TitanFall, for instance? To further reflect this sentiment, Respawn revealed the Collector’s Edition box for the game, which costs $250 and is big enough to fit a person inside. It’s at least big enough to fit Community Manager Abbie Heppe, according to a video posted by Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella.

The Collector’s Edition will include the original game, a +190 page hardcover artbook, an Atlas Titan poster and an 18 inch hand crafted figurine of a Titan with its own diorama that even requires batteries for its LED lights. That would explain the box’s size but this figurine truly is a thing of beauty.

TitanFall is currently slated to release on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on March 11th in North America and March 14th in the UK. Will you be picking up the admittedly expensive Collector’s Edition? Let us know below.

Square Enix has finally revealed the release date for the PlayStation 4 version of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. It will be out on April 14th 2014 and will commence its services on the very same day. Pre-orders will be available starting today for the Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition.

The Collector’s Edition will include, among other things, Early Access starting on April 11th. You’ll also receive a Mog Cap & Cait Sith Doll minion; a special box with artwork by Yoshitaka Amano; The Art of Eorzea: A Realm Reimagined art book; a special soundtrack; art card set; themed security token; and much more, including in-game items such as a Coeurl Mount, Behemoth Barding, Baby Behemoth minion, Helm of Light, Fat Chocobo Mount and Wind-up Moogle minion.

Square Enix has also announced that PS3 players will be able to migrate their accounts from their version to the PS4 version on April 11th. You won’t be able to go back to the PS3 version afterwards though (unless you pick up the PS4 version separately). It’s also worth mentioning that PS4 users can join the Final Fantasy XIV: ARR beta test for no charge.
