PS5 players gain access to the Standard Edition of Wild Hearts, Koei Tecmo’s ill-fated action RPG, and Ride 5. On the PS4 side, there are PS Plus re-releases like Watch Dogs 2 and Naruto to Bortuo: Shinobi Striker alongside Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, and Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization.

If that’s not enough SAO, Premium subscribers gain exclusive access to the PS3 version of Sword Art Online: Lost Song, playable on PS4. Everyone else can settle in with TimeSplitters, TimeSplitters 2, and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect for PS4 and PS5. Finally, PS VR/VR2 users can experience Vacation Simulator. However, that’s not all, as the latest trailer showcases. There are 21 new Follower traits, including the Poet (who pens lines with every boss defeated) and Cursed (resurrected from the dead). The Jerk is also less annoying and can be cured through either affection or bullying.

Other features include a Nursery, a Knucklebones building to play against Followers, and new Fleeces (including a Cowboy Fleece for starting runs with the Blunderbuss). There are also new Relics with Blessed and Damned variants and even co-op exclusive Relics.

Cult of the Lamb is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It’s sold 3.5 million copies as of January 2024.

The update adds a new playable character, the Goat, as two players can experience the entire campaign together. Whether they’re fishing, raiding dungeons, selecting weapons and more, it’s all fair game. Co-op also adds new mechanics, like swapping weapons between the Lamb and the Goat.

When fighting back-to-back, both characters can deal more damage. Syncing attacks also result in critical hits. If you’re not keen on co-op, Unholy Alliance adds new Relics, Tarot Cards, follower quests and traits, buildings and much more. There will also be new abilities to further mix up the gameplay. Described by developer Massive Monster as Cult of the Lamb‘s biggest and most wicked update so far, Sins of the Flesh is headlined by the addition of new progression systems for the management aspects of the game. Followers can now be put on the sinful path, allowing them to take part in new rituals and doctrines, and unlocking new buildings.

The update also brings with it new tools for cult management, including new items like shiny poops, which can be used to get greater crop yields. Followers can now also get new outfits thanks to the new Tailor building. The update features 23 different clothing styles to choose from.

On the combat side of things, Cult of the Lamb now has its new Blunderbuss weapon, which revolves around weaving in long-range sniper shots with close-range heavy blasts.

Released back in 2022, Cult of the Lamb‘s sales figures have reached an impressive milestone. For context, the game had already proven to be quite popular on release, having sold a million copies in its launch week.

Speaking of followers, cultists are getting new features as well through the addition of new buildings and shiny poop, which has enhanced effects like better crop yields. Players can also get a new broom, which can then be leveled up to complete chores faster.

On the action side of things, Cult of the Lamb is getting a new weapon—the Blunderbuss. The new weapon offers a mix of long-range sniping, as well as a burst attack that can blow enemies away in close quarters combat.

The studio, making the announcement for the update over social media platform X, hasn’t yet revealed any concrete details about what we can expect from Sins of the Flesh, or when the update will be coming out aside from an early 2024 release window.

The last major content update for Cult of the Lamb was Relics of the Old Faith, which brought with it a new post-game storyline. The update also brought with it a revamp to boss fights, as well as new challenges and rewards that could be earned by players.

Along with the character resembling Webber from Don’t Starve: Reign of the Giants and Don’t Starve Together, the description on YouTube gives it away with the “hungry for more” part. Of course, the part about whether the Lamb will survive could indicate their appearance in Don’t Starve, perhaps in a two-way collaboration like Terraria had.

As part of free the update, Cult of the Lamb will be getting a new post-game storyline revolving around a mysterious being having you take on revamped enemies, bosses, and crusades. Players will be able to make use of Relics, which are usable items that give you unique effects.

New Relics can be unlocked by conducting new Sermons, and a new Relic Book will allow players to keep track of the Relics that they have unlocked. The game also now features lore about new entities dubbed The Three Ducks.

Relics of the Old Faith will also be bringing other new content to Cult of the Lamb for its base-building sections. Followers can now start meal prep in the Kitchen, and players can now build Shared Shelters that can house up to 3 followers.
