The team behind what the now defunct Inside Xbox series are to return to screens after having formed their own production company

This follows from on from Microsoft’s cancellation of Inside Xbox in both the US and UK and subsequent decision to drop all first-party produced video content.

Dan Maher, former Inside Xbox co-host, announced the news on his Twitter account. The new video production company consists of Dan Maher, Gareth Wild and Ashley Denton and is tentatively named Explosive Alan Productions.

Inside Xbox UK was first started in 2008 and included the award-winning SentUAMessage. Microsoft’s decision to axe it has been met with hostility, even prompting an e-petition entitled ‘Microsoft Xbox: Stop the Discontinuation of Inside Xbox‘.

For more information, head to the official Explosive Alan Productions Facebook page.
