Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed is of course, the second part of this popular franchise. This remake – much like the original – is a faithful and ground up recreation of the original with a brand-new graphics engine and revamped gameplay mechanics. The remake will also include couch co-op, like the original game.

Considering how big of a success the remake for the first game was, it’s no surprise that THQ Nordic would want to continue giving the same treatment to other entries of the franchise. This announcement, however – isn’t a surprise, given that the reveal was accidentally leaked yesterday by PlayStation. Details on the release date are scant for now beyond a 2022 launch window, but THQ Nordic has confirmed PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC as release platforms for the game.

PlayStation’s official Twitter account recently ended up uploading the full announcement trailer for a remake of the second game in the series, called Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed, complete with plenty of gameplay footage and everything. No release date is mentioned, but it’s looking like it’ll follow in the footsteps of the 2020 game in terms of sticking to the source material while significantly upgrading the visuals. THQ Nordic does have a showcase coming up in a couple of days, on September 17, where it plans on announcing at least six new games. It’s likely that there’s where we’ll see the official announcement of the Destroy All Humans! 2 remake.
