Based on Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-winning “Phineas and Ferb,” the #1 animated TV series among teens 9-14, the “Phineas and Ferb” level in Disney Universe allows players to experience the adventures of Phineas, Ferb and friends in the suburbs of Danville firsthand. Gamers will be able suit up as Phineas, Ferb, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Agent P and Candace as they utilise cool gadgets. The Chick-Inator will turn players into chickens in order to access small spaces, while the Atomic Leaf Blow-Inator will allow them to blow away piles of leaves to reveal collectibles and more as they advance through the neighborhood avoiding traps and hazards. The level will culminate as players battle Dr. Doofenshmirtz in an epic showdown to bring down his blimp and save a trapped passenger.

Disney has released a launch trailer for their game, Disney Universe. The game features sections from famous Disney properties, the most interesting of which looks to be Pirates of the Caribbean till now.

The game looks somewhat similar to LittleBigPlanet. Which means it looks fun. But we can’t say anything yet, without having actually played the game. Stay tuned for continued coverage.

Players will select a character-based costume, with each costume offering a specific tool that changes and grows in power as players adventure through the game.

Players can suit up as film characters such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Angelica, Mr. Gibbs, Captain Barbossa and Blackbeard as they navigate their way over the Thames River and through the city streets of London. The new world also includes cannons to fend off the pirate ships, water bombs to prevent London from burning and rubber duck vehicles that players can utilise to engage in a final battle in an attempt to gain access to the Fountain of Youth.
