The odd little indie title Doki Doki Universe will be finally be available soon for PlayStation owners. HumaNature Studios has announced the game’s release date for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita as December 10th, and has confirmed that it will support cross buy. This means you can purchase it for one platform and immediately play it on others.

Doki Doki Universe is odd, for sure, as you play as robot QT3 as he works to learn about humanity. There will be personality quizzes to take and depending on which version you go with, you’ll wind up with a few different features overall.

The full game will retail for $14.99, and will include 31 personality quizzes along with Doki Doki Mail messaging and a Story mode. meanwhile, the Starter Pack will be available for free and comes with 16 personality quizzes along with a tutorial planet, Doki Doki Mail and QT3’s home planet. According to Greg Johnson, founder of HumaNature Studios, the previously announced adventure game Doki Doki Universe has an updated release date, and will now be releasing across multiple platforms. Doki Doki Universe was original slated for a “sometime in 2013” PS3 exclusive release, but now the game will release this December, and across PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.

Doki Doki Universe will be partially free to download for all from the PlayStation Store, and will include a number of fun, interactive features, such as personality quizzes, and a mail application, which will allow players to message other gamers in game.

Based on the now published trailer, we can expect very cute and fin animated graphics which will accompany a warm hearted and heart warming story experience.

The rest of the game, which includes the role-playing story driven element, but is equally as interactive, will be available for purchase via download from the PlayStation store as well.

Next up Big Fest, developed by On The Metal Studios and described as a music festival simulator game. You’ll be able to go about discovering bands, creating your lineups and even visiting other fests for co-op play of some sort. On The Metal is pushing for “your music, your way”, and promises to featuring real band and somehow “breaking real bands in the real world.” Sounds ambitious enough. Check it out above.

Finally, we have the trailer for Doki Doki Universe, which releases on the PS4 and PS Vita. It’s a free to play game that’s “more than a game” and has you playing as a robot who must get people to like you. Or something along those lines. Let it not be said that Sony doesn’t have a thing for the off-beat. Check it out above.

Doki Doki Universe is an…odd game. It was recently revealed at Sony’s E3 conference, no matter how briefly, with a new trailer and screenshots following shortly after. The game will be coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. So there’s no dearth of platforms to experience it on.

The game itself is still pretty hard to describe, but it’s much in the same vein as a lot of Sony’s new IPs. So take that to mean that it’s fresh, artistic and quite interesting given how you’ll be able to create an experience tailored to your own personal choices. Sony revealed today a new game from the creator of Toejam and Earl for PS4, PS3 and Vita titled as Doki-Doki Universe.

Doki-Doki Universe is being advertised as somewhat different from other games and instead it will be a set of “related products that are released across all current Sony consoles. Meanwhile, the main product will be a free-to-download social title, however, the full game will be an ”RPG/Simulation/Interactive Story’ game.

HumanNature Studios CEO and Toejam and Earl Creator Greg Johnson have stated that its hard to explain the concept behind Doki-Doki on paper.

According to the official PlayStation blog Greg Johnson stated “Players’ first exposure to Doki-Doki will be in the form of a free download”.

“This is a light version of the game where players can fly around a Universe and take fun personality quizzes. This free game will include our fun Doki-Doki Mail messaging app, which players will also be able to get for free on mobile platforms as well, for cross-platform chat.

“If players decide they want to land on planets and interact with all the crazy characters in our Universe, they can purchase and download the full game.”

However, the information regarding the release date for Doki-Doki is currently unknown.
