Don’t Starve: Giant Edition has been available on practically every single gaming platform under the sun for quite a while now – PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, PC – but an Xbox One version has always been a baffling omission in that list. That changes soon, as the developer of the game has confirmed that it shall finally be coming to the Xbox One soon.

The exact release date is not known yet, but if you are someone who has really wanted to play Don’t Starve for a while, and has either refused to buy it on any of the other systems it is available on, or doesn’t own a single one of them, then this probably comes as good news to you. It also adds to the ever increasing list of games that were mysteriously exempt from the parity clause that remains the one failing of the ID@Xbox program.
