Coming to Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, it features updated controls and difficulty alongside the classic side-scrolling action.

The long-running beat ’em up series Double Dragon is getting a new title courtesy of Arc System Works. In the latest Weekly Famitsu, the developer confirmed the title would be in 3D and launch in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The new title will feature side-scrolling combat but with adjusted difficulty and controls. Alongside Jimmy and Billy Lee, recurring enemies like Roper and Abobo will also appear (though it’s unknown if the latter will be unlockable for playing). Further information, like the name, has yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

Secret Base’s Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is the last title in the series, released in 2023 as a spin-off. Though it lacked online co-op at launch (later added in the expansion Sacred Reunion in 2024), it allowed two players to choose from up to 13 characters. For more details, check out our review – we gave it a 6 out of 10.

Some feats may seem impossible until you perform these audacious tricks.

Video games offer a variety of different challenges but sometimes, you want to make those challenges as non-existent as possible. While these tricks aren’t cheats per say, they will make your life a bit easier, perhaps even completely breaking certain aspects of these 15 games.

The Elbow – Double Dragon

The Elbow trick is one of the most revered moves in Double Dragon history, particularly because it knocks down enemies faster and does lots of damage. It’s also not a trick – it depends on the number of points one has because that leads to more hearts. With five hearts, you can execute the elbow, smashing foes behind you and knocking them down for those quick, no-death speed-runs.
