Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts is still going strong despite the fact that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is edging closer and closer. It recently received the Invasion DLC pack for Xbox One and Xbox 360, and on July 3rd, the DLC will be coming to PS4, PS3 and PC.

To celebrate the same, Infinity Ward has tweeted that there will be a double XP weekend for player starting today. That means double the experience points till Monday so queue up today and rack up those kills.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion adds a significant amount of content this time around with four maps – including a remade version of Favela from Modern Warfare 2 – along with new weapons and a new chapter for the Extinction campaign. With the return of the Playstation Network after it had been hacked, exploiting many gamers information, Sony and game developers are celeb.rating the comeback of the system in many ways.  One of them is gaining double experience online in Killzone 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops.  Both of the events have begun, with the Killzone 3 XP event ending May 23 at 10:00AM GMT(UK) while the Call of Duty: Black Ops XP event ends on May 24th at 10am PST (6pm UK time).

There will also be another PS3 double XP event for Call of Duty: Black Ops when the Escalation Map Pack is released for the PS3 and PC on June 3rd.

In celebration of the Undead Nightmare retail disc package that was just released for Red Dead Redemption and includes all previous DLC, Rockstar Games is having a double XP weekend event for this Thanksgiving Holiday. The event actually starts this Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, and will run through the rest of the holiday weekend up until the 28th. The Undead Nightmare retail disc will run you $29.99 in the U.S. and the U.K. will have to wait until November 26th to see its release costing £24.99. Fortunately you don’t need any DLC or retail discs to participate in the double XP event.  The retail disc however is stand alone and you won’t need the original RDR disc to play all the DLC, just pop it in and play.  Just a reminder for those who are interested in the Undead Nightmare DLC, it specifically adds the following to the game:

• Multiplayer Poker and Liars’ Dice Games — One of the most fan-requested features comes to multiplayer.
• Multiplayer Horse Races — Ride out against your friends and foes online – with mounted combat guns blazing.
