The world premiere trailer was showcased at Gamescom 2026’s opening night and introduced us to an unnamed protagonist who finds themselves loose in a prison colony in outer space, their past misdeeds seemingly forgotten in light of a rapidly unfolding situation. There are some monstrous beings on board for some reason, and they’re all quite nasty. They’re probably quite hangry, but that’s still no excuse for the way some of those creatures begin what could have been a conversation.

Fortunately, you’re not entirely helpless, and fighting back is going to be the core of the experience in this one when it drops. The Darksiders: Genesis fans among you are sure to notice how familiar it all looks, even if the art direction is decidedly more sci-fi in this one. When it’s releasing is up in the air at this point, and there’s as little information on the platforms it’s going to be playable on.
