Although Rockstar Games revealed recently that it had no new news on the Cold War spy style action adventure game Agent, which has been in development limbo since first being revealed years ago, the project is far from dead.

According to a report by Superannuation, Rockstar Games staffer Jon Young mentioned the game as being in development in his CV alongside Grand Theft Auto V. While we don’t doubt the veracity of that claim, it could easily just be on hold while the various studios – Young is part of New York – finish up work on the bread winner that will be GTA V.

Not that we could blame them.

Agent was first revealed at E3 2009 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive title, featuring as one of the many games expected to turn the tide in the console war. However, it disappeared shortly after, despite some environmental assets for the game being unearthed afterwards in 2011. Regardless, hype is hype and we’re still looking forward to Rockstar’s vision for the game.

With E3 2009 closed and all things coming to a wrap, we at GamingBolt.com decided to do a feature on what were the games shown at E3 that really caught the eye. E3 2009 just like every E3 hold true to one fact : The games will always have a bright future. So without any delay let me present you the best games of E3 in various categories :

1. Best On Stage Demo :

Winner : Assasins Creed 2

Ubisoft has nailed it right. Ezio really looks like he has what it takes to be a likeable character just like Altair from the first game. Now you will have all the moves in the bag. The players will now be able to swim the canals of Venice , fly with the help of Leonardo Da Vinci’s flying machine , drive boats and much more. The developers emphasized on the term “diveristy” in the game, and the demo showed us the game will be much more bigger and better than the original.

Runners Up :

1.God of War 3

2. Alan Wake

2. Best Graphics :

Winner : Uncharted 2 Among Theives

Naughty Dog have always been known for the fact that they always use the hardware to its maximum abilities. Uncharted 2 showed us just that and why we should care about this game. The demo during Sony’s press conference was epic. Nathan Drake and other supporting character models are top notch. The absolutely destroyed sections of Nepal are stunning to look at. Of all the games at E3 , this was the most eye candy.

Runners Up :

1. Alan Wake

2. Forza 3

3. Biggest Surprise of E3 :

Winner : Final Fantasy XIV exclusively for Playstation 3

Last year Mircosoft broked millions of Sony’s fanboys hearts when it was declared that the famed game is also coming on the Xbox 360. This year Sony gave them back by surprisingly announcing Final Fantasy XIV for the PS3. Now the funniest thing about this is that FF13 is not even released for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Runners Up :

1. Metal Gear Solid franchise makes its debut on the Xbox 360

2. Project Natal on the Xbox 360

3. PS3 new motion sensor controller.

4. Biggest let down of the show :

Winner : Gran Turismo 5

Well gamers all around the world have been wondering whether this E3 will be the one where they will get their hands on the game. And just like the last 5 years ( GT5 was announced way back in 2005 ) the same happened. Just a short trailer. The game director just said in a recent interview : ” We can release GT5 anytime we want “. Tough words there ………….

Runners Up :

1. No Heavy Rain Presentation during Sony’s Press Conference.

2. Alan Wake to be released in Spring 2010

5. Best Fighting Game :

Winner : Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny (PSP)

Eventhough we dont cover the Playstaion Portable as of now, we just cant let this game off the list. With Kratos confirmed as a playable character , Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny looks like it will deliver just like its predecessor.

Runners Up:

1. Tekken 6

6. Best First Person Shooter :

Winner : Halo Reach

Bungie had decided that Halo 3 was supposed to be the last in the trilogy, but here they came and teased us with a short trailer. Whether Master Chief is making a coming back for this one remains to be seen.

Runners Up :

1. MAG

2. Singularity

7. Best Racing Game

Winner : Forza 3

Forza 2 revolutionized the genre of simulator racing games. With its great customization and other features fans were expecting that sequel will hit soon. No worries, the game is due in October 2009. We just cant wait.

Runners Up :

1. Mod Nation Racers

Winner : Fight Night Round 4

Fight Night Round 4 is shipping on June 25th 2009. The game has been made on an improved physics engine that will be able to detect where an opponent’s blows land, as well as utilize a fighter’s height and reach. In short if you are a fan of the other games in the series you just cant afford to miss this one.

Runners Up :

1. FIFA 2010

2. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010

9. Best Role Playing Game :

Winner : Mass Effect 2

Yes ! You will be indeed be playing as Shepard in the sequel. But for how long is still unknown. The game is looking beautiful and it looks like Bioware are indeed pulling off the issues that bugged the original. The only bad news is that we have to wait till 2010 to get this game.

Runners Up :

1. Dragon Age Origins

10. Best Multiplayer Game :

Winner : MAG

Of what we had seen during the Sony’s conference we can definetly say that we are in a treat. Zipper Interactive is working around the clock to get this game ready. 256 players online will certainly bring a lot of fun and variation to the gameplay. MAG is expected to hit the PS3 sometime in fall 2009.

Runners Up:

1.Left 4 Dead 2

11. Best Game on the Show :

Winner : God Of War 3

If theres one game that PS3 owners have been waiting to get their hands on , than it has to be God of War 3. Whatever we have seen so far of the game just reminds us that Kratos is growing increasingly brutal. Some of his moves seems really brutal like pulling man’s head and popping up a eye. The game looks like its going to continue where its predecessor left off. With an engaging storyline, great score and Kratos more angry than ever, this is game thats going to make the buzz in March 2010.

So Folks we stated ours. Whats your pick ?

Every year during the calm after the storm known as E3, the video gaming world debates about which major corporation had the best showing at E3. Here at Gaming Bolt, we’re not in the business of promoting fanboyism by declaring a winner, but we can tell you where we think Microsoft and Sony succeeded and where they failed. Below you will find our top 5 successes and top 5 failures for each of the two companies. From there we’ll let you decide for yourself who was the most impressive at E3 ’09.

Top 5 Successes

Project Natal – This was possibly one of the most exciting and revolutionary announcments made at E3 this year. With features such as voice and body recognition coupled with controller-less play, Project Natal could really change the face of gaming. See our page on Project Natal for more info on the revolutionary motion-sensing camera.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising – The Microsoft rep said it best when stating that the Xbox 360 was missing one franchise that would make it a complete system. That franchise is Metal Gear Solid. With the announcement that the franchise was coming to the 360, Sony fanboys across the world moaned in protest. The new game is rumored to follow the events in MGS5 and will star everybody’s favorite cyborg ninja, Raiden.

Halo: Reach – This one took us all by surprise and was certainly a well-kept secret. Details on the game are few, but one thing’s for certain – any game with “Halo” in the title is destined to sell well.

Instant On 1080p Netflix – For all the Xbox 360 users wanting an HD video player, look no further. You have one already. With “Instant On”, 360 owners no longer have to wait for their favorite movies and TV shows to download. With one click of the controller, these can be watched instantly and in the highest resolution possible. This makes the Xbox 360 an even more impressive multimedia machine.

Twitter and Facebook – Sure, gamers aren’t notoriouos for being socialites, but who doesn’t have a Facebook or Twitter account? No one. The features shown during the E3 demo were quite impressive and seemlessly integrate Facebook and Xbox Live accounts and avatars right on the dashboard. Another cool feature is the ability to take in-game screenshots and post them directly to your Facebook page. Some hardcore gamers may not be a fan of these new features, but they certainly appeal to a broad base of consumers.

Top 5 Failures

Not enough new exclusives – Here are the new exclusives announced by Microsoft that aren’t sequels – Shadow Complex and Joy Ride. One we know nothing about and the other is a free to play avatar racer. The only exclusive sequels announced were Halo: Reach, Left 4 Dead 2, and Crackdown 2. That’s just not going to cut it.

Not enough new IPs – ONE new IP – Shadow Complex. We know little to nothing about it. Also not cutting it. Gaming is about the games. We want more games.

No live demo of “Milo” – The possibility of interactive AI like that proposed by the Milo character is intriguing to say the least, but let’s face it – the video we saw could have been scripted. The woman could have not done a thing, while Milo carried on the conversation all by his lonesome. As exciting as Project Natal is, the AI aspect of something like Milo needs to be seen in real time to be believed. Not to mention there was no release date given, so this project may not be seen in stores for years to come.

No handheld – In the days leading up to E3, rumors swirled that Microsoft would be announceing a video game enabled Zune handheld. In a market where Sony and even moreso Nintendo have seen large profits with their portable gaming devices, Microsoft looked poised to make a splash into the pool of handhelds. E3 came and went, but with no mention of the rumored handheld. So much for that. For now.

Nothing Original – Microsoft is infamous for stealing ideas and games. Well… maybe not stealing… but buying. Microsoft has proven time and time again that everyone has a price. Whether it’s Square Enix with Final Fantasy or Konami with Metal Gear Solid, Microsoft finds a way for other companies’ exclusives to become multi-plat. Every year at E3, one of Microsoft biggest announcements is that they stole away yet another exclusive from Sony. This year was no different. Even Microsoft’s Project Natal has elements eerily similar to early games released for the Playstation Eye. It would be great to see Microsoft develop blockbuster franchises of their own. Other than Halo.

Top 5 Successes

1:1 Motion Control via Playstation Eye -With the best-selling Wii and now the Xbox 360 both boasting motion control abilities, it was almost a necessity for Sony to bring the same or comparable abilities to it’s system. Although the motion control system demoed at E3 was at an early stage in development, the precision it showed was quite impressive. The precision shown in this short demo was already superior to the Wii’s motion controls as well as those shown in the Project Natal demo. Not only that, but it was said to be ready for release in 2010. Let’s hope that’s true.

PS3 and PSP Game Lineups – Gaming is about the games. Sony’s show was filled with new IPs, exclusives, and blockbuster sequels for both the PS3 and the PSP. For the PSP – Grand Turismo PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm, SOCOM, and Resident Evil. Exclusively on the PS3 – Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, MAG, White Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain, Fat Princess, DC Universe, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, Agent, Final Fantasy XIV, ModNation Racers, Last Guardian, and Gran Turismo 5. Gamers want games. Sony delivered the games at E3 ’09.

New AND Exclusive Games – Sony showed us four new AND PS3 exclusive games at their news conference – Rockstar’s Agent, Final Fantasy XIV, ModNation Racers, and Last Guardian. From the demos shown and the companies making these four games, they all look to be AAA titles. Big name games for a big name show. Sony brought the games.

Final Fantasy XIV – The Final Fantasy series is a system seller. At last year’s E3, Microsoft dealt Sony a big blow in announcing that the formerly Sony exclusive, Final Fantasy XIII, would be available for the Xbox 360. Sony fired back this year by announcing the Final Fantasy XIV would be available as a console exclusive on the PS3. The humorous part being that Final Fantasy XIII hasn’t even been released yet.

Top 5 Failures

Metal Gear Solid: Rising – Metal Gear Solid is by far the biggest exclusive franchise for Sony and the Playstation brand. Wait a second… let me rephrase that…. Metal Gear Solid WAS Sony’s biggest exclusive franchise. Microsoft announced that the next Metal Gear Solid game, Rising, would be released on its console. This wasn’t a huge surprise, but it’s definitely a big blow to the Playstation brand.

PSP Go Leak – In the week leading up to E3, a leaked Qore video prematurely let the world know that the PSP Go was going to be announced at E3. This ruined Sony’s chances of surprising ANYONE with this announcement, thus dampening the impact of Sony’s conference. Not to mention that the new PSP has been complained about by many fans for not having a second analog stick.

No Price Drop – Ever since the PS3 launched, the biggest complaint about the system has been the price. Of the three current generation platforms, the Playstation 3 is the most expensive, and Sony seems committed to keeping the PS3 at the $399 price point. One can only imagine how many more systems would be moved if Sony dropped the price. Coming into E3, a price drop seemed imminent. No such price drop occurred. Not a good move by Sony.

No new firmware features – Firmware updates allow the PS3 to be future proof to an extent. New updates bring new features and new reasons to buy a PS3. Sony’s conference was void of any new firmware updates. Although the PSP gained the ability to access the PSN’s video store directly, the PS3 itself gained no new features. Adding a significant update would have helped Sony gain a step or two on its competition. This didn’t happen.

Gran Turismo 5 – A cornerstone of Sony’s games throughout the years has been the Gran Turismo franchise. It has continually been the best racing game on the market – that is WHEN it’s on the market. E3 ’09 marks the 4th straight E3 that we have been teased by videos of Gran Turismo 5, yet we still have no release date. Sony gamers are starving for this title, and E3 would have been a great time to finally give us a date to mark on our calendars. This too didn’t happen.

So, after an E3 that brought back the extravagance and excitement that we had been missing the past couple years, are we left with a winner? Maybe, maybe not. With the amount of exciting games and features announced throughout this week, we at Gaming Bolt agree that the gamers came out on top this time. Whether you’re an Xbox 360 fan, a Playstation 3 fan, or even both, E3 ’09 has reassured us that the future of gaming is as bright as ever.

Tell us what you thought of E3 below in the comments section!

Lost Planet 2 (PS3/360/PC):

Capcom brings Lost Planet 2 with a bang with 4-player co-op with a sprint feature this time. The 4-player co-op is only a system link or online. Single-player co-op is not a feature right now but looking into it. In this demo that we see a giant salimander, which is stated to be one of the smaller boss fights on this game in a 4-player co-op. You get to see how long it took to take down a boss which took about 10 minutes. So, long boss fights. They wouldn’t release the dates of the demo and the actual game.

In this game, you have more customization features the way you look. The multiplayer modes will be the same as last time with a few surprises.

———————————————————————————————————-

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (Wii):

This is a sequel to Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. Even this being a Wii only title, they actually stated it being scarier than the previous Resident Evils. A lot of places from the previous Resident Evils will be brought to this game. This is only a point and shoot game. You don’t move the character, but all you do is point and shoot (so rail shooter) and shake your Wii remote to reload. They are showing a demo with two-player co-op which is bringing back like I sated before a lot of previous places. But even though this is a rail shooter, you don’t go through one way all the time. You can choose to take different paths. This is remake of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code Veronica. Being easy to choose weapons or herbs, you can set them to the D-Pad like on Resident Evil 5. So check this game out this winter.

———————————————————————————————————-

Spyborgs (Wii):

Capcom says Spyborgs is Ratchet and Clank meet Devil May Cry. This looks like Ratchet and Clank playing syle but you get combo counters like Devil May Cry. We see a demo that looks pretty good that shows a 2-player co-op. You collect orbs, but they help you pull off special moves. Like on the Xbox 360 and the PS3, you have epic boss battles with huge bosses. Well they actually bring a huge boss battle with the graphics that actually look pretty good for a Wii game. Capcom is also adding emblems to this game like the PS3 has trophies and the Xbox 360 has achievements. You always play with 2 players on the screen even if you play by yourself, you choose your characters and the computers character. If you play 2-player co-op, each player chooses character. They are trying to do Wii-motion plus with Spyborg, but this might set-back the date of the game. Capcom said the release would be around fall 2009.

———————————————————————————————————-

Tekken 6 (PS3/PSP/360):

Tekken 6 is launching with an amazing 40 characters. Everyone from Tekken 5 will be returning and some new ones. New game modes besides Versus of course like arcade mode and online campaign co-op. Yes, online campaign co-op. Tekken adds a feature to the campaign that is actually running through areas and not just fighting a character. It adds a faster feel with motion blur to add a sense of more realism and “more natural and believeable.” And now a Tekken with GUNS! There are flamethrowers, guns, and other great stuff. So check this out on the PSP, Xbox 360, and the PS3 fall 2009.

———————————————————————————————————-

Pixel Junk Shooter (PS3):

Pixel Junk Shooter is about going through underground game with 2D graphics of saving survivors. It has water and lava, which when they mix, they form molten rock, which you can shoot to get to the survivors to help. It is very cool looking. If you get to close to the lava for a while, your ship turns red and you have to cool off by getting to the water. The physics of the water and lava is great and the lava flows slowly while the water flows faster. So be sure to check out Pixel Junk Shooter out.

———————————————————————————————————-

Fat Princess (PS3/PSP):

Fat Princess is coming to the PSP and PS3 with the PS3 version coming this summer, and the PSP version coming this fall. Fat Princess is a multiplayer game the with eight maps and an extra bonus map. Fat Princess has different classes with workers and warriors and archers and more. The workers can go around building things. And warriors and archers doing their things and fighting. You will be surprised in the gore of this game.

The story mode is single player only and no co-op involved. So if you want a gory game with a little child in it. This is it.

———————————————————————————————————-

Assassin’s Creed 2 (PS3/PSP/360/Wii/PC):

This time you will be going through the Italian Renassiance with actually night and day changes. You are not an assassin at first but have to become to survive. The demo starts out with you sitting on a bench and a guard comes up and says, “It’s you!” You take him out from the bench and sit him there where you were. Then you are to assassinate a guy in a castle.

You finally climb up to rooftops with a glider/”flying machine.” Da Vinci will be the creater of many of the things that you use in this game. You fly to the place where the person who is going to be assassinated is. Since this is Assassin’s Creed 2, you have two wielding blades and stab two guys in the throat at the same time. He then chops this guy right in the head and it just sticks. Then you assassinate the target and numerous guys come in so you can through smoke bombs and escape. Also they stated they want, “diversity.” So I hope no more repetitivness. And you can now swim. “100 missions for the main quest and 100 missions for the side quests.” Some examples of side missions are say you are doing a lot missions and the guards are aware of you and the signs are all over and you can go rip them down, and people and guards won’t be as worried.

Desmond is back but Altair will not be in the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC version. Said, “if you want to continue the Altair experience then get the PSP version.” No plans for a demo.

And left with the words, “[what you have seen] is just the beginning.”

———————————————————————————————————-

Rabbids Go Home (Wii/DS):

You start off with them starting to say that they heard something in the Wii remote so I stuck a camera inside there and found a rabbid. You can shake the controller and everything and he will fly around and press buttons and do all of this. You then get to see a demo of it where you are in a shopping cart and there are humans all around you. They get annoyed at you and send things to get you and you then have to defeat them. You get to see hoping on to jet engines and just some great stuff. A co-op mode with customizable characters with 40 missions. This wil not a a Wii game to miss. Go rabbid this holiday season.

———————————————————————————————————-

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up (Wii):

You get to choose from any of the four turtles, Shredder, april, or Splinter. This is a fighter where you fight each other. The stages are only horizontal designs but some up and down like Mario. This is a multiplayer focused game with a story single player mode but wouldn’t release any news on it. The playstyle is holding the Wii remote horizontal like a controller. So lets smash it up this September.

———————————————————————————————————-

Red Steel 2 (Wii):

This is a whole new story with a whole new character. You play as a swordsman, the hero with no name. You is a “gunslinging samurai.” The setting is like a western but in the present time. Someone killed you your friends and you are out to find out who. You start the demo with being dragged by a motorcycle by a rope. You then pull out your hidden pistol and shoot the motorcycle. This game is for Wii-motion plus and bundled with Wii-motion plus. You have to have the Wii-motion plus to play this game. With Wii-motion plus, it can messure the angle and hot hard you are swinging it. The harder you swing, the more damage done. There will NO blood in a game like even though it will be centered around blood.

They show off a boss fight where there is a giant guy with a huge hammer. It looks like an exciting boss fight and a Wii game that shouldn’t be missed. So get it this holiday season.

———————————————————————————————————-

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3/PS2/PSP/360/Wii/DS):

Now with 24 heros and new heros as well. Has 4 player co-op offline or online. The story is around the Civil War when a lot of when they are trying to get rid of mutants. We get to see Captain America, Song Bird, Storm, and Juggernaut. Also you will get some boosts to play style on types of teams you choose. For instance, if you put the Fantastic Four together or all girls them. You can use your powers to send on to another player as well. For example, they showed Song Bird sent powers to Juggernaut to make a sound barrier around him to make him a wrecking ball. Another example is Storm sends electricity off Captain America’s shield to great lightning bolts everwhere. Alternate costumes with each character with at least one alternate costume. So lets get some super powers this fall.

———————————————————————————————————-

Modern Warfare 2 (PS3/360/Wii/PC):

We get to see Modern Warfare 2 now and it looks amazing and is in a arctic climate. You start out by climbing up a mountain. You then continue to jump and then you start sliding off the mountain and you get saved. When you finally reach the top of the mountain, you get a get and it has a heart beat monitor on it so it acts like a UAV. You also see two guys walking away from you, and you shoot one in the back while your partner shoots the other. Then you continue to a building to plant C4 while being stealthy because there is foggy wind in the air. You then are surrounded and told you come out with your hands up and have 5 seconds to do so. You hear Cpt. MacTavish say plan B and you hit the detonator to blow some stuff up behind them. You then open fire you kill a lot of the guys and proceed on. You will then come to guys with snowmobiles and drive them and shoot some SMGs.

They talked about the Collector’s edition and said it was really awesome but would NOT say anything about it. So go get it November 10, 2009.

We take a look at The Beatles: Rock Band. This time around you get to get three singers sing which was a challenge for Harmonix to make. The drum set actually has the Beatles emblem on it on the front of the base. It has three guitars as well which look quite awesome.

———————————————————————————————————-

Splinter Cell: Conviction:

This time around, Sam Fisher is back to find out what happened to his daughter that got killed in the last Splinter Cell, Double Agent. There are no loading screens. They are using the cut scenes as loading scenes. This is a sand box game this time around where you can execute a house or mansion from anywhere from like windows. This is coming exclusivly to Xbox 360 this fall.

———————————————————————————————————-

Brutal Legend:

We get a rock at this game with a look at it. This gory viewer is the main character, voiced by Jack Black, has found blood on his favorite belt buckle, which in actuality his belt buckle is the gate to a hell world which is like the covers of the rock songs that he enjoys. So this is what he loves. You have an axe that you can just chop people in half and you can play a guitar where you just send electricity through the body of people when you play. You can cast a shock of pain by jumping up and coming down with a BOOM! This will not only make the enemies fly but cause the whole environment to fall apart. Since this is the place where all the rock things are, he gets rot rods, women, and much more, ohh…yea…did I mention women.

If you pre-order from GameStop, you will get the code for the Love Giver guitar. This game is coming for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on October 13, 2009.

———————————————————————————————————-

Left 4 Dead 2:

This is located in New Orleans. Are adding over 20 new items and weapons. Getting incendiary ammo. How is that? It is fire ammo. We will have to wait and see this. There is going to be a new game mode to the already game modes of Left 4 Dead. From this sequel, you find out that the virus is spreading every where, all over the country. This is going to come out on November 17, 2009, exclusivly to Xbox 360 and PC.

———————————————————————————————————-

Mod Car Racers:

This is another Play, Create, Share game like LittleBigPlanet. You get to customize your character, vehicle, to the actual race track of this cart racer. You can make tracks very fast in under five minutes. The tracks are like adding the actual track to the terrian to trees and mountains. Adding water. Even Houses. It is very simple. Just hold X if mountains are selected to make mountains and by holding it in an area longer, it will make the mountains bigger. The release of this game is looking for the first half of a 2010 release.

———————————————————————————————————-

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves:

We see some old characters in a trailer that they release and show. We get to see Elena Fisher, so she is back. The story is that Marco Polo was going to find a treasure. So Drake goes and looks for it. We see him go through numerous buildings with some great visuals like last game and a helicopter comes at you and just demolishes the building that you are in and while you are still playing, not a cut scene, the building starts breaking up and sliding down and you have to get out of here. It is good. They also announce that the single player will be longer than Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. The multiplayer beta goes live at midnight tonight only on Playstation 3.

———————————————————————————————————-

MAG:

This is a First Person Shooter that has a massive 256 players. With a leader on each team. Then there are a officer of each squad of 8. The leader talks to the each officer and then the officer then communicates to his squad of what the leader says to do. They showed actual gameplay of this and no lag on this. It was guys trying to protect the heart of the refinery and the other team starting one on each side just going and taking out the middle. This looks like a great game. You have a chose of three factions that you can chose. They are all different but all evenly spread out. If you do good, you work on your faction to make your faction go on top. And no announcements of a beta coming yet, but will come.

———————————————————————————————————-

Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time:

We get to see actual gameplay of this. The story takes off where the last 2 tites, Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty, left off. The story starts out with someone taking Clank and you have to go find him. Ratchet actual gets a new item, which are like hoovering boots which you can go anywhere with them and not just on a certain area. They shoot you really fast acroos the now open area of Ratchet and Clank. Runs at 60 Frames per Second. There was a mention of special editions but wouldn’t say if there was or wasn’t. There is no cliff hanger for this game at the end like the other games, so this may be the end of Ratchet and Clank. You be the judge. This title is to released this fall 2009 only on Playstation 3.

———————————————————————————————————-

Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer:

This game is ALL about the story on how YOUR decisions can affect how the story turns out. You play with 4 different characters. You do everything with the arms to exactly how and when you open a car door. You move the right stick to the left to open a car and you can move it slow or fast to move it. You move foward by just holding R2. You turn your head by holding L2 and if you look to the right and press R2, then your character turns to the right.

The demo starts out with you getting to a junkyard and saying you are looking for a 83 blue Malibu. He big tuff guy says get lost. You can turn on ARI (which is sunglasses that can scan the area). You notice some clues that are relating to the Origami Killer. He then walks up and puts a gun to your head and he says he is now going to take you out. You finally make a move and escape. He puts you in a car handcuffed to a steering wheel and you have to escape. You have a gun in your glove compartment so you can get it or die and that is the end of the story for this character. You then can fight if you are still alive. We will post more of this tomorrow so check back soon. This is released early 2010 only on Playstation 3.

———————————————————————————————————-

Forza 3:

Some new things to Forza is a new cockpit view with over 400 carsand 15 manufactures. Also actual a rollover for the car. The car could always take damge but now the car can now flip. The Forza team even went into making the tires flex around turns with the new engine they have made for Forza 3. The cars are 10Xs poly-count compared to Forza 2 so better graphics. So the damage is as good as ever.

The Forza team has made a decision to add SUVs into the Forza 3 game, so I see a lot of damage into this game. This is a Xbox 360 exclusive.

———————————————————————————————————-

Thanks for coming to Gaming Bolt and check back with us tomorrow at 10 am PT where we will bring more games that you will love.
