After the Tropy list for the game had leaked, Sony finally revealed Entwined, an indie puzzle title that followed the story of two streams struggling to be together. The game is already available for the PlayStation 4 at $9.99 with the PS3 and PS Vita versions to follow soon. That’s right – Sony has announced a new title and already made it available worldwide for players via PSN.

The game looks incredibly good and you’ll have roughly nine lifetimes to unite the two streams together. You can head to the PlayStation Store right now to purchase the game and it was likely support cross-save functionality and cross-play when it releases for the Vita eventually.

Remember when Sony filed two new trademarks for Kill Strain and Entwined? It seems the latter is actually very much a reality with the Trophy list of the game leaking ahead of Sony’s E3 media briefing. Check out the list over at Exophase.

The trademark in question Entwined applies to “computer game software; downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices; video game software”.

So it’s highly possible that the game is a PSN downloadable release. Nonetheless, we’ll wait to see what Sony has to say about the game at its E3 media briefing.

Sony is also set to reveal a bunch of other titles with the Order: 1886 and Project Beast also being included in the line-up and we’re looking forward to some other exclusive reveals. What are your thoughts on Entwined? Let us know what you think in the comments.

There are two things, one which we can be absolutely sure of, and one which we can be reasonably sure of: we can be absolutely sure that Sony will fund and produce some new IPs for the PlayStation 4 in house, given that their first party efforts have always been marked by creatively risky and unique ventures, unlike the reliance on established franchises that characterizes their competitors.

The second thing, which we can be reasonably sure of, is that Sony is holding back some big guns for the PS4 for E3 this year, since the release slate for that system is completely barren right now. A popular theory holds that Sony is simply going to go all in during E3, and that they don’t want to blow their load early. New evidence lends more credence to that theory.

On April 14, Sony filed for two new ‘computer game software’ trademarks- Killstrain and Entwined. We know absolutely nothing more about these two, except for the fact that they are, in fact, expected to be games. Whether they are massively multiplayer online games by Sony Online Entertainment, or new IPs that Sony plans on introducing for the PS4 this E3, is a point of contention right now.
