The Eve series has a new first-person shooter MMO coming out called Dust 514 and is might just be a console exclusive.  The trailer is pretty damn epic and just leaves me wanting more.  No other info in known on the title, so check it the trailer.

DUST 514 is a First Person Shooter (FPS) and strategy experience set within the EVE universe. The primary gameplay features brutal ground combat that takes place on the surface of planets, delivering the visceral, adrenaline-fueled experience of futuristic firefights. Developed for the current generation of consoles, DUST 514 will be equal parts battlefield reflexes and strategic planning, allowing commanders and ground infantry to work together, utilizing the real time configurable modular weapons and vehicles at their disposal to adapt to and control dynamic battlefield conditions.

More than a mere persistent world, DUST 514’s connection with EVE Online makes New Eden a true virtual reality. The planets that DUST 514 players fight on will be the same planets that EVE pilots see and interact with in space. Both worlds will be linked in such a way that cooperation between players is optional, but beneficial to both if accepted.

Long term, we aim to become the premier service provider of the complete science fiction experience, one in which the experience itself extends from the ground all the way up into space, and on every vehicle in between.

Eve Online takes place 20,000 years in the future. Humans have constructed a jump-gate in a wormhole named EVE. Anyone that has played the MMO-RPG would know this. After colonizing all around space, humans have formed different factions and races. Some just don’t like to play well with others. Online you can choose between five different races as you expand your colony you must protect it as well but this does not stop you from exploring the large universe of Eve Online.  The game has been out for quite some time and keeps on growing as it has a very large following of players and Eve Online have many different expansions and versions.  The game is for the PC and you can play it straight from you computer.  Mac and Linux users should see a release for Eve Online this winter.  You can get a free trial or just buy the game right here.
