The DLC expands on the Black Ops experience with new multiplayer maps “Berlin Wall,” “Stadium,” “Discovery,” and “Kowloon.” For zombie fans, Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike also features an all new zombie level, “Ascension,” where players fight against  perk-stealing zombie monkeys, flesh-eating Soviet zombies and more in a trap-filled, Cold War era Cosmodrome.

Starting today, enjoy a Double XP weekend on the PC as Treyarch offers double the normal amount of experience points for multiplayer in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Patience is a virtue it seems. Having been released nearly two months ago for Xbox 360, the First Strike DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops will finally make its way to PC gamers this friday.

Treyarch’s Josh Olin has confirmed the news via Twitter; ‘First Strike’ “will be coming to PC March 25th!”

The First Strike DLC includes four new competitive multiplayer maps – Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium and Kowloon – and a new Zombies level called Ascension. It’s priced at (£11.49/$14.99). The price is a little high, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Activision’s announced the release date for their First Call of Duty: Black Ops, DLC pack, First Strike for PS3.

The game will be releasing on March 3 worldwide for the system.

The pack earlier released as a timed Xbox 360 exclusive on Feb 1.

Activision’s promised that a PC release will follow suit and although they haven’t given a concrete date yet, they’ve assured that it’ll release before March 31.

First Strike contains 4 new multiplayer maps and one new zombie map for Black Ops.
