It’s hard to believe that the Five Nights at Freddy’s sensation has been ongoing now for several years. It seems like only yesterday when the first game was a streaming sensation. Time sure does get away from you, huh? Well, the multitude of games in the franchise have stayed in the realm of PC and mobile ecosystems, but now they’ll finally make their way to consoles.

As announced by developer Clickteam, the games will finally make their console debut later this week. Five Nights at Freddy’s 1-4 will all come on the 29th. The games follow a security guard who watches over Freddy Fazbear’s pizza and must survive for five nights as aging animatronic robots begin stalking you as you monitor cameras. Each game brings a new chapter to the strange saga of Freddy’s.

All four Five Nights at Freddy’s games will be available digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch on November 29th for $7.99 USD.

Scott Cawthon has been pumping one entry after another in the surprisingly frightening Five Nights at Freddy’s series and the third one is now available on Steam. Retailing for $8, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 will continue the saga of scary animatronics up to sinister acts.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 takes place 30 years later where Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is little more than an urban legend. Oddly enough, the owners still feel like there’s some appeal to be had in the horror attraction which causes them to look for any surviving relics from the past. For better or worse, one animatronic has survived the purge and from there, it remains to be seen which lowly night guard will be the next survivor.

As a mostly static survival horror title, Five Nights at Freddy’s has introduced different mechanics over the series to have players successfully avoid getting got by the animatronics. What will the third one introduce? We’ll find out in the coming weeks.

After teasing the same, Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is coming soon and will look to continue the trend of animatronic beings with malicious intentions. The third game appears to try and take this further as this latest teaser shows us. Check it out above.

As of now, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is on Steam Greenlight and is open to voting. As a first person horror game, it will likely return to the same setting and protagonist as previous games. This means you’ll likely be another security guard looking to survive the night. Then again, if the second game managed to keep things fresh after releasing so soon after the first, the third game should likely introduce a wrench into the mechanics.

Scott Games took the world sort of by storm when it introduced Five Nights at Freddy’s, a first person survival/psychological horror game that used minimal animation and design elements to convey a new terrifying fear: being trapped with a bunch of walking, animatronics who were out to get you. The game was a hit and received a sequel which introduced even more frights and fears besides a few new elements.

However, it seems that there may be another Five Nights at Freddy’s coming soon. A quick visit to Scott Games’ website reveals a new image (seen above) with the words, “I am still here” with appropriately creepy eyes next to it. Open the image separately and you’ll see the file name “fnaf3” which clearly indicates “Five Nights at Freddy’s 3”.

Given that there have already been two games in the past six months, is a threequel really the answer or is it slight overkill? Regardless, let us know what you think of playing Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 in the foreseeable future.
