Football Manager 2012 will be getting the winter transfer update, Sega announced.

The new data update includes all the transfers and managerial changes that happened during the transfer window, including manager moves from last weekend.

The update is available on Steam.

Sports Interactive and SEGA have announced that Football Manager 2012 is now available.

Football Manager 2012 Match Engine will also support 3D.

The PSP version, Football Manager Handheld 2012, will be released on the 28th of October 2011, with the iOS version for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch coming soon.

There are lots of areas of the game that have had huge improvements, such as the media system, press conferences, the youth system, newgens, the social networking options, friendlies, international management and many more which will be detailed in a series of video blogs over the coming months, alongside more information about Football Manager 2012.

A demo for Football Manager 2012 is now available on Steam. The demo will include the first half of the 2011/2012 season, which you can carry on playing in the full game when it releases.

Games saved in the demo will be compatible with the full game, so players can continue where they left off when the game is released on October 21, as well as being able to add more playable leagues to the game using the new “add/remove leagues” option.

The in-game languages and QuickStart leagues included in the demo are as follows:

• In-game languages: English, American English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Czech and Polish
• QuickStart leagues: England, Scotland, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Australia.
