Football Manager 2013 Trailer Shows Victory is But a Water-Pail Away

Sega has released a new trailer for Sports Interactive’s upcoming management simulator Football Manager 2013. It’s live-action and dubbed “Victory” and doesn’t really tell us much other than carving letters into metal is easier than one would think.

We simply see a man carving the words, “Champions 2013” into a water pail and leaving it on the window sill. Then the tagline of the trailer, “Taste victory always”, which is pretty apt considering not many other franchises have been prospering due to FIFA 13’s dominance. Regardless, Football Manager 2013 is now available for PC and Mac OS X, and as part of a storied franchise, is well worth a look.

Football Manager 2013 Release Date Announced

Sega has announced that Football manager 2013 will be releasing on November 2 worldwide.

They’ve also announced that anyone who pre-orders the game via a retail partner will have early access to a fully playable version of the game “around 14 days prior to the official launch date.”

“Our fans are very good at letting us know what they want and the one thing that’s consistently at the top of their wish list is an earlier release date,” says Sports Interactive’s Studio Director Miles Jacobson. “While we can’t, strictly speaking, offer them exactly what they want, this Beta version is the next best thing… a fully playable Football Manager they can get their hands on around two weeks before the finished game hits the streets.”

Good news, eh? The game looks pretty good. Given the series’ record, it should play similarly.

Football Manager 2013 Announced: “Press Conference” Trailer Tells All

Sports Interactive has just announced the latest in their Football Manager series. To be released for the PC and Mac, Football Manager 2013 will be published by Sega and include a bevy of new features.

Players can either take up a full career, or try out the Challenge mode, where players test their managerial abilities over a period of time. There will be 5 challenges shipping with the game, based on realistic scenarios.

There’s also the Classic mode, which “simplifies the way players manage their club”, or so the dev says. Check it out above.
